A wrap-up flag set for dimple locks, not ordinary flat keyways
Dimple locks use a key with drilled dimples on the flat face of the blade. The pins are reached from the side, so ordinary hooks feel clumsy and blind. This wrap-up set gives you flag-style dimple picks for learning lift, angle, rotation and feedback on suitable dimple cylinders.

Dimple Lock Pick Set + Wrap-Up Case, Professional Flag-Type
The job
Helps practise suitable dimple locks with flags, rakes, or profile-specific tools.
How to check the lock
Look at the key. A dimple key has round or oval cuts drilled into the flat face, often on one or both sides, rather than a jagged edge-cut pattern.
Where it fits
Use it when a standard flat hook cannot reach the pins cleanly and the keyway asks for a flag pick that lifts from the side.
Start with the key shape, then learn the side lift
If your key has dimples on the flat face, choose dimple tools. If your key has cuts along the edge like a normal house key, start with ordinary pin-tumbler picks instead.
On a dimple cylinder, use light tension, choose a flag that reaches the pin cleanly, then lift and rotate carefully. A clear dimple cylinder lets you see the pin stack move while your fingers learn what the tool is telling you.

Build a proper dimple practice bench
Dimple picking improves faster when you can see the mechanism, try a rake first on suitable locks, then finish with flags when the rake leaves pins behind.
Clear Dimple Cylinder
See the sideways pin layout while your hands learn the lift.
Thunder Dimple Rakes
Try a fast raking pass on suitable dimple locks before finishing with flags.
Multipick G-Pro Starter
A refined upgrade when you want a serious dimple system.

Quick answers from the LockPickWorld bench
What is this used for?
Use it for suitable dimple locks: the lock family where the key has drilled dimples on the flat face and the pins need a side-lifting flag pick.
How do I know if my keyway matches?
Check the key first. Dimple keys have round or oval cuts on the flat face of the blade. If your key is cut only along the top edge, this is not the right tool family.
Is it approachable if I am still learning?
Yes, but learn it on a clear dimple cylinder. The technique is different from normal pin picking, so seeing the pins move makes the feedback much easier to trust.
What should I pair it with?
Pair it with a clear dimple practice cylinder, then add dimple rakes if you want a faster first pass on suitable locks before finishing with the flags.
Move from flat keyways into dimple cylinders
When the key has dimples on the face, use a tool built for that geometry. Start on a clear dimple cylinder, work with light tension, and let the flag pick teach your fingers the sideways lift.
