The Core Kit Is Ready To Work
The standard MACHINA kit includes the EPG body, rechargeable protected Li-ion battery, intelligent fast charger with digital display, USB to USB-C cable, 5 Dangerfield EPG needles, 2 tension tools, a hex key for needle changes, and a multilingual instruction booklet.
The included needles are the 0.02 inch / 0.6 mm working size. They suit a wide range of pin tumbler keyways, but they are still consumables. If you are going to practice hard, add spares from day one.

Before You Buy
Will the MACHINA open every lock?
No EPG opens everything, and anyone saying otherwise is selling fantasy. MACHINA is made for pin tumbler cylinders where the needle has room to move and the tension is right. Other mechanisms need other tools.
What if the power feels inconsistent?
Do not keep buzzing away. Fully charge the battery, seat the battery cap cleanly, turn the needle swing down, and test again with light tension. If it still cuts in and out, stop and get in touch. We want the MACHINA feeling solid in your hand.
Is it quiet?
No. The MACHINA is around 80 dB, so expect the sound of a compact powered tool. It is cleaner and faster than hand fatigue, not quieter than hand picks.
Which bundle should I choose?
Choose the base MACHINA if you already own storage and spares. Choose the hard case bundle if the tool will travel. Choose the full bundle if you want a backup battery and spare needles in the same order.
Which replacement needles fit?
The included needles are 0.02 inch / 0.6 mm. For spares, we carry Dangerfield 0.024 inch / 0.6 mm pick-gun needles and Dangerfield 0.019 inch / 0.5 mm needles.
Is owning an EPG legal?
In most US states, lock pick tools are legal to own for hobby, sport, and trade use, but local rules vary. Only pick locks you own or have explicit permission to open. Working locksmiths and first responders should follow their agency or licensing rules.
Add Needles Before You Need Them
EPG needles are wear parts. Heavy tension, awkward warding, and too much swing can bend or snap them. That is normal. What is not normal is being stuck without spares when you are finally getting good openings.
The 0.024 inch / 0.6 mm Dangerfield needles match the included working size. The 0.019 inch / 0.5 mm needles give you a finer option for tighter keyways.
