Ford Tibbe Car Entry Make Up Key

he Ford Tibbe Make-Up Key works in tandem with our best-selling Ford Tibbe Pick and Decoder. After successfully picking the lock, you can read along the top of the pick and make a note of the numbers. Then, working from that code, this item allows you to make up a temporary key which will work on the lock you just picked. So if your customer has lost their keys, you can decode their lock, make them a key, and they can continue to use their vehicle until they locate their original keys. Comes with instructions and really allows you to move your service to the next level.

Unless the keys are in the car, unlocking the door in near useless, since they can't turn on the ignition. With this tool you can to provide the customer with a working door and ignition key, allowing them to drive away and use their car as normal, until the proper key is found, or replaced.

*NOTE - this will not work if there is an immobilizer in place.

This diagram shows the separate sections in the make-up key - sections 1 and 2 are quite similar, but 2 has a slight curve whereas 1 is flat. You match these up to the numbers you've decoded with the tool to make your key.
