On a lot of commercial double doors the only thing standing between you and entry is a small interior thumbturn. The J-Tool is shaped to slip through the slim gap between those doors, hook around to the inside, and rotate the thumbturn to retract the bolt. No drilling, no broken glass, no damaged hardware. With a little understanding of the door and some practice, this becomes one of the fastest non-destructive openings a working locksmith has.
A bypass tool for thumbturn doors, not a pick for the cylinder
This is not a tool for picking pins. It works the door, not the lock cylinder. Commercial buildings often run double doors with a deadbolt or latch that is locked and unlocked from the inside by a small thumbturn knob. From the outside that thumbturn is just out of reach, with only a slim gap between the two door leaves.
