Rake first, to set a few pins, then pick the remainders, it can be that simple.
But there's more. The pick (as the other is a rake) will also bypass some dimple thumbturn locks. Just insert the tool past all the pins, engage the came, and open the lock. You have to find just the right part, but it usually only takes about ten seconds to get the right part and BOOM! The cam turns, it's unlocked, and the door opens. Lovely!
