Dimple picks are more like 'Flags' than standard picks, allowing you to use the wards in the dimple lock as a guide, then 'tilt' the pick, rather than attacking it as usual from underneath simply pushing up.

Dedicated flag-type dimple picks and the 'tilt-method' make picking dimple locks far easier, and have changed the way we pick such locks.

There's also two wafer rakes for wafer locks, and a probe type pick for tight paracentric locks.
