Skeleton EDC multitool plus a 26-piece lock pick expansion
The Dangerfield Skeleton is a covert everyday-carry multitool: eight lock picks and rakes that pivot out of a slim keychain body, plus a combination TOK and BOK tension tool that fits the same frame. This pairing adds a separate 26-piece expansion set so you can swap profiles, carry the right tools for the lock in front of you, and keep growing the kit over time.

A pocket multitool and a full profile library, together
The Skeleton itself is a fold-out picking tool. Eight picks and rakes pivot from a black handle body, the way blades fold out of a pocket multitool, so the whole working set rides on a keyring instead of a roll. Below the body sits the combination TOK and BOK tension tool, giving you both top-of-keyway and bottom-of-keyway turning from one piece.
The 26-piece expansion adds more picking profiles to the same system. Where the built-in eight cover the everyday work, the expansion gives you hooks for single-pin picking and rakes for faster work, so you can match the tool to the lock instead of forcing one shape to do every job.

Tension first, pivot out a pick, read the pins
Start on a pin tumbler lock or a clear practice cylinder. Seat the combination tension tool in the keyway and apply light rotational pressure. Pivot out the pick you want and slide it past the pins, feeling for the one that is binding under tension. Set that pin at the shear line, hold what you have gained, and move to the next.
Use a rake when you want speed and a hook when you want control. Reset whenever the feedback gets muddy. Light, steady tension is what turns a row of set pins into a clean turn.
From first clicks to picking with intent
Real opens depend on the lock, its condition, and your technique, so take it slowly on practice hardware first. The point of carrying eight picks plus a 26-piece library is options: when one profile stalls, the next one is already in your hand.
Built to live in a pocket, ready to grow
Covert everyday carry
The Skeleton folds its picks into a slim keychain body, so a full working set rides with your keys instead of a separate case.
Top and bottom tension
The combination TOK and BOK tool gives you both turning positions from one piece, handy when a keyway will not take a standard wrench.
26 more profiles
The expansion set widens your hook and rake choices, so you can match the pick to the lock rather than make one shape do everything.
Set yourself up to learn it faster
A pick set teaches more when you pair it with a lock you understand and tension you can fine-tune. These work well alongside the Skeleton.
Eureka Practice Locks
A known training lock turns the set into a clear lesson plan, so you can feel progress instead of guessing.
TOK Wrench Set
Dedicated top-of-keyway wrenches add tension options for crowded or stubborn keyways.
Dangerfield Serenity
A refined 301 stainless follow-on set when you want smoother profiles and direct pin feedback at the bench.

Quick answers from the LockPickWorld bench
What exactly comes in this?
The Skeleton EDC multitool with eight pivoting picks and rakes plus its combination TOK and BOK tension tool, paired with a separate 26-piece expansion set of extra picking profiles.
Is it a good first set?
It works well for a first set if you start on a clear practice lock. Begin with a single hook and light tension, learn to set one pin at a time, then bring in the rakes and expansion profiles as your feel improves.
What kind of locks is it for?
It is built for pin tumbler locks, the standard cylinder found on most padlocks, doors, and practice locks. Only ever pick locks you own or have clear permission to open, and check your local law first.
What should I pair it with?
A known practice lock and a little extra tension choice. A training lock you can read and a wrench set to fine-tune pressure are what turn this kit into clean, repeatable opens.
Carry a full picking kit, then keep growing it
Eight picks and a combination tension tool that fold onto your keys, plus 26 more profiles for the locks that ask for something different. Start on practice hardware, keep your tension light, and let the feedback teach your hands.
