Product Description
This Advanced Tubular Lock Pick is as Simple as Using The Key
Tubular locks are a high security lock designed to make picking difficult. The pins are set in a circle with the key being a tube-like item with the cuts around the outside.
Because of the high security a tubular lock can offer, it is often used in gun safes, vending machines, and computer locks.
Comes with a Decoder key so you can have a new key cut once picked.
The 7-pin tubular lock pick is a tube with several blades around the outside, each corresponding to a pin in the lock. When inserted into the 7-pin tubular lock, the pins cause a resistance, causing the blades to set at different levels. When fully inserted into the lock, the different levels of the blades will look exactly like the correct key - it's like a skeleton key for tubular locks.
There are different types of tubular locks. There is the 7-pin tubular lock, 8-pin, and 10-pin lock. The 7-pin tubular lock is the most common, while the 10-pin type is the rarest.
How Do You Pick a 7-Pin Tubular Lock?
A tubular lock is highly secure and difficult to pick using ordinary tools. You’ll need a 7-pin tubular lock pick if you want to successfully open a tubular lock. A tubular lock pick will make it easier and faster to pick a tubular lock, just like using the key itself.
These premium SouthOrd tubular lock picks set the standard for tools that make picking these locks easy and quick. They are almost as simple to use as a key!
- Press pick on a flat surface to ensure the 'blades' are all level
- Insert pick into the lock
- Gently push while lightly turning left and right
- The lock opens!
In nearly 20 years of lock picking I have never seen a more effective tool.

7-, 8-, and 10-pin tubular locks have the same keyway size, but a different number of pins. Even though the keyways are all the same size, the spacing of the pins is different. This is why you’ll need different tubular lock picks to handle different locks.
