Finally, a lock pick set that answers the question I get asked all day, every day: 'What is the best lock pick set?' ... more

Finally, a lock pick set that answers the question I get asked all day, every day: 'What is the best lock pick set?' I picked the brains of some of the world's best lock pickers, world champions, prize winners and government level professional lock pickers. I added it to my own experience and that of the team here - well over 100 years of lock picking between us - and created what I believe to be the perfect kit. That set is the our newly designed Dangerfield 'PRAXIS' Dual Gauge Complete Lock Pick Set

We've selected the most effective eight lock picks and rakes, and supplied them in TWO gauges. That's what makes this set extra special. Each pick appears twice in this set - once in 0.023" and again in 0.015" - meaning all those times you've needed super-slimline picks to get into tight keyways, to deal with obstructing warding, or to work difficult pins - now you've got them. And the conventional slimline picks are there for the tougher jobs when a standard gauge is required.

I have also selected the best variety of tension tools to compliment the picks, including  a two different gauge Top of Keyway wrenches. This really is something special. Every pick is every set is hand polished as if it was made just for you.

This set is manufactured in the finest 301 Stainless Steel and comes in a tough, hard-backed, camo, heavy-duty canvas, zip-up case.

What you get:

All of the following picks appear twice - once in 0.023" and once in 0.015" - with each pick clearly marked with the relevant gauge.

  • Short Hook
  • Medium Hook
  • Deforest Diamond
  • Half Diamond
  • Bogota Rake
  • S-Rake
  • City Rake
  • W Rake

Tension Tools:

  • Dangerfield Z-Wrench
  • Long Twist Wrench
  • Short Standard Wrench
  • Top of Keyway wrench 0.030"
  • Top of Keyway wrench 0.050"

NOTE: The superb range of picks in this set make it ideal for beginners, experts, and everyone in between, but please treat the 0.015" gauge picks with respect.

Very nice. Individual picks are not replaceable.

Surprisingly better than my beginners set. Much recommended. Would be a 5-star, but individual picks are not replaceable. I lost my half diamond -- now what do I do?
