For the lock picker who wants every piece
You already know you're going to end up owning the pro pick set, the repinnable locks, the good book and a proper case for each kit. The Collector puts all of it in one order, at a better price than buying it piece by piece. Everything here is chosen for single pin picking: the tools to feel each pin, the locks that keep getting harder, and the guide that explains what your fingers are telling you.
The Collector or The Collector Plus
Both packs carry the same core: the PRAXIS pro set, the Skeleton for your pocket, two repinnable practice locks, the hardcover Visual Guide and both Predator cases. Plus adds the Lokko Beginners Box and the Eureka progressive locks, so you get a second full pick set and five more practice locks for $50 more.

Every piece, and the job it does

Dangerfield PRAXIS 21-piece set
Eight pick profiles, each in two gauges: Short Hook, Medium Hook, Deforest Diamond, Half Diamond, 3-Peak B-Rake, S-Rake, City Rake and W-Rake, in 0.023" for full feedback on standard pins and 0.015" for tight keyways. Five tension tools cover the top and bottom of the keyway, including the Dangerfield Z-Wrench, a long twist wrench, a short standard wrench and a top-of-keyway wrench.
Every pick is Starship-grade 301 stainless, the same grade SpaceX builds Starship from, so the tips hold their shape and the feedback stays crisp.

Dangerfield Skeleton EDC multitool
Nine tools fold into an aerospace aluminum body that measures 3.15 inches closed and rides on a keyring. You get a Half-Diamond, Short Hook, Deforest and Flat-head Hook for single pin work, a Triple-Peak Bogota, City Rake, Batarang and S-Rake for raking, and an integrated top-of-keyway wrench.
The PRAXIS stays on the bench. The Skeleton is the set you actually have on you when a lock catches your eye.

Aluminum cutaway repinnable lock
A solid 10.6 oz (300 g) brushed aluminum trainer with six pin chambers and a cutaway window, so you can watch the pin stacks, the shear line, oversets and false sets while your hands do the work. Run it with two pins for clean tension drills, then build up to all six and add security pins.
Tweezers, spare pins and the Allen key come with it, so a repin takes minutes.

Repinnable mortise practice lock kit
A genuine mortise door-lock body with 30+ pins in standard, spool and serrated, plus springs, stoppers and the hex key to rebuild any chamber. Back out the grub screws, swap the pins, and you have a new lock.
This is where you prove it: no window, just the feedback you learned to read on the cutaway.

The Beginners Visual Guide, hardcover
The luxury hardcover edition: 178 pages and more than 190 full-color illustrations that make lock mechanics visible. Progressive lessons run from pin cylinders to specialty locks and cover tension, single pin picking, raking, bumping, Lishi and more.
It's built to sit open on the bench next to your picks and a practice lock.

Predator Jackal and Viper cases
One tan Jackal and one olive Viper. Each has 17 tool pockets, a fold-out panel for TOK, BOK and Z-bar wrenches, and a full-height zip pocket, in water-resistant outdoor fabric at 6.3 x 4.3 x 1 inches closed. Bulky Peterson handles drop into any pocket a slim pick does.
Two cases means you can keep the PRAXIS in one and your growing collection of singles in the other.

Lokko Beginners Box
16 polished 301 stainless picks with comfortable handles, 6 tensioners, a clear padlock and a clear double-sided cylinder lock, a covert credit-card kit and a 44-page digital quickstart guide.
The clear locks are the fastest way to connect what you feel to what the pins are doing, and the second pick set is the one you can hand to a friend at the table.

Eureka progressive clear locks
Three clear locks in a deliberate order: standard pins, then spool pins, then serrated pins, each with keys and a friendly Schlage-style keyway. Spools teach false sets and counter-rotation, and serrated pins teach the small clicks that feel like progress until you learn the difference.
A training path from first pin to blind picking
-
Read the pins you can see
Open the Visual Guide at the tension chapter and pick the clear locks while you watch. In the Plus pack, start on the Lokko clear padlock and cylinder.
-
Meet the security pins
Work the Eureka locks in order, standard then spool then serrated, so false sets and counter-rotation make sense before you meet them blind.
-
Diagnose on metal
Move to the aluminum cutaway with the PRAXIS. Start with two pins, add one each time it opens, and use the window only when a mistake keeps repeating.
-
Prove it blind
Repin the mortise lock and pick it with no window. When it gets easy, change the pins. When you leave the house, the Skeleton comes with you.

Quick answers
Which pack should I choose?
Choose The Collector if you already have a beginner set or some clear locks. Choose The Collector Plus if you're starting from scratch or want a second set to share, because the Lokko box and the Eureka locks give you seven practice locks to climb through for $50 more.
Is this good for a beginner?
Yes. The Visual Guide starts from how a pin tumbler lock works, and the clear locks let you see what you're feeling. The PRAXIS and the repinnable locks are the tools you grow into, so you won't need to buy again when the first locks get easy.
Does it include raking picks?
It does. The PRAXIS has the 3-Peak B-Rake, S-Rake, City Rake and W-Rake, and the Skeleton adds a Triple-Peak Bogota, City Rake, Batarang and S-Rake. The pack is built around single pin picking, though, because that's the skill that opens the harder locks.
Why two cases?
One for the PRAXIS and one for everything else you collect. Each holds 17 tools plus wrenches on the fold-out panel, so you can split your kit by job and carry only what the lock needs.
Do the pieces ship together?
Yes. The whole pack comes as one order, and it qualifies for free US shipping.
Use lock picking tools responsibly, only on locks you own or have permission to work on, and check local laws before buying.
