This new generation of SouthOrd MAX Lock Picks features their NO rivet stainless steel handles, providing the user excellent feedback and feel. They've expanded the series to include picks not available before in MAX, and produced the picks from .025" thick stainless steel.
SouthOrd MAX Lock Picks are created from High Yield Stainless Steel, the strongest and most durable stainless steel lock picks available. High Yield Stainless Steel material is often used for applications requiring extreme high strength. It is much harder than other Full Hard materials, having a minimum tensile strength of 270,000 PSI, compared to 185,000 PSI for Full Hard Rated Syeel.
