Multipick Lock Noob 'Abona' Advanced Lock Rake

A BRAND NEW lock rake designed by YouTube lock picker 'Lock Noob' in collaboration with Multipick.

Raking allows you to attack all the pins simultaneously, or groups of pins simultaneously, rather than lock picking proper 'Single Pin Picking', meaning you can be opening locks on day one, rather than all the study and work required for other techniques, such as single pin picking.

However, the real beauty of raking is how it develops. When you start you'll be applying tension with a tension tool, and literally moving the rake in and out of the lock. But it doesn't stop there. Once you've had a chance to investigate your new tools, you'll find there's many advanced raking techniques, like zipping, scrubbing, dragging, there's so many it gets confusing because people have different names for the same technique. One man's zipping is another man's ripping (is a sentence I never thought I'd write!). In fact with our POLARIS rake set we give a 5000 word digital document on advanced raking techniques, demonstrating the flexibility, potential for development, and effectivity of Raking.

At first glance the Abona looks much like the famous triple peak rake, a pattern that has established itself as a 'must-have' in the lock pickers arsenal. But upon closer inspection you'll notice it's not regular, the distance between the peaks and troughs are irregular, and when you hear Lock Noob talking about the Abona, he explains it's a cross between two of the most effective rakes ever designed: The triple peak rake, and the city rake, which, in short, is a stroke of lock picking genius.

One of the bonuses of this particular design is how it will deal with high/low biting. 'Biting' is the way the lock has been pinned, the heights at which the pins are set to prevent the lock turning, and help prevent us naughty lock pickers from doing our thing successfully. Since raking deals with groups of pins simultaneously, the beauty of this design is how it will cope with locks with pins set very high, next to a pin set very low, which is often a problem with raking.

A lot of thought, knowledge and skill has gone into the design of this pick and we're proud to be able to supply it, so you can add it to your favourite set, making it considerably better with that one simple addition.

Finished to the usual Multipick High Specifications, the pick handle is a wonder to behold, with the name 'Abona' and 'Lock Noob' written on it as well as the product code and even the backs have a stylish pattern
