This 14 piece set (MPXS-14) comes with nine picks and a broken key extractor, all manufactured of tempered stainless steel and all with their exclusive rivetless stainless steel handles, four tension tools and a top grain leather snapover case.

Why do stainless steel handles make a difference? It's so you can clearly get feedback from the pins of the locking mechanism you are trying to pick. In the hands of an expert, this is the preference - however, as a beginner, perhaps you would want to also buy a set with some kind of handle so you have a greater variety of picks to try.
